This privacy policy sets out how Inzura Ltd uses and protects any information that you give us when you use our website or InzuraGo smartphone app, such as when:

  • Making an enquiry via our ‘Get in touch’ form.
  • Requesting a free ebook, downloadable resource document, report or other materials.
  • Subscribing to our blog posts via email.
  • Installing and operating our InzuraGo smartphone app

We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. This policy is effective from 19th November 2019.

Your information

Any information you provide via our website and InzuraGo app will be treated as private and confidential and will be subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Under its rules we are classed as a data controller and we will fulfil our legal responsibilities to you, including: 

  • We will ask you for consent before we we hold and use your information. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time and we will remove your information.
  • We will provide a copy of the information that we hold about you on request.
  • We will remove your information if you have not contacted us or used our apps and services for period of two years.
  • We will never share your information with a third party.  

If you provide information via a form on our website and provide consent we will store this information and use it for the following purposes:

  • To contact you by email, text or telephone if you have requested more information about our services, We may also keep a record of that correspondence.
  • To provide you with any of our downloadable resources, reports, ebooks or other material that you have requested.
  • To email you from time to time other information relating to insurance technology and/or our services that we think may be of interest to you.
  • To comply with regulations. 

InzuraGo smartphone app

We operate a smartphone app called InzuraGo that is used to demonstrate our company capabilities. The app is available on the Google Play and Apple app stores and is free to download. The app collects the following data which we use to operate and test the various services offered through the app. The data collected is:

  • GPS location data
  • Time and date information
  • Photographs, video and audio data
  • Written information
  • Phone sensor data
  • Contact information such as email, phone number

By installing and activating the app you agree that we can use your data to operate and test the services being demonstrated in the app, and to retain your data in line with this policy, including the statements below. The demonstration services in the app include insurance policy document validation, on-demand home insurance photo cataloging, journey recording and car driver feedback, accident reporting, dashcam video and audio recording and playback and messaging including chat. New services will be added from time to time.

GPS data along with time and date is recorded for each 1 second interval of your journey. The data is uploaded to our systems at the end of each journey where we use advanced analytical techniques to assess driving skill, driving style and to generate journey scores.

We create an anonymised version of your journey data by removing the first and last 150 metres from each journey and by removing any personal identifying data. Raw journey data is retained for two years to help us test and improve our systems and anonymous journey data is retained indefinitely to help us test and improve our systems.

All photographs, video, and all other media and data captured by the InzuraGo is retained for two years to help operate the features of the app and to help test and improve our systems. We use Google and Amazon Web Services to help process media data.

The InzuraGo app contains an end user agreement which must also be agreed to before the app can be operated. These in-app terms and conditions and end user agreement should be used in conjunction with this privacy policy.
